Gale grew up in the family business, and had her own pratice for several years after their father moved his practice to Parker.  She moved to Florida for a few years, and continued to do returns there, while working as accounting manager for an international paper machine manufacturer in Tampa.  She moved back to Colorado in 1992 to rejoin the family practice.

She became series 6 licensed in 2001, and received her Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) designation in 2002.
